Aleksandra Midor Multidisciplinary Product Designer
I drive business value by designing solutions that work in the real world.
What I do
I work across digital and physical worlds, creating solutions that navigate complex, regulated environments, from designing data-heavy platforms to construction site lighting and a biocenter for a university. For the last four years as the sole designer at Swedish SaaS startup Data Talks, I led end-to-end design: research and strategy through data visualization and UI delivery, building a platform that helps organizations unlock value from their data.
My approach
I bridge the gap between what's technically possible and what users actually need. My background spans architecture, UX & human factors engineering, and full-stack development, which means I understand constraints from multiple angles: regulatory requirements, technical limitations, and human behavior.
How I got here
My multidisciplinary thinking started early. I was the kid doing violin and basketball, in high school art classes and advanced math-physics. This led me to architecture, where I spent a decade balancing functionality with building regulations. The shift to digital happened when I got involved with VR applications for architects and realized I could apply this same human-centered thinking to digital experiences.
Beyond work
You'll find me dancing lindy hop, practicing yoga, drawing, or exploring Sweden's nature in our converted VW T5 campervan.
